The AE-Ferty Tester

AE-Ferty simulates the abrasive stresses to which fertilizer granules are subjected during transport, storage and processing.

AE-Ferty tester has a specially designed steel drum, that is loaded with 50 x Ø 5/16″ (7.938 mm) steel balls and fertilizer granules to simulate abrasive forces. High-quality motor provides the correct rotation and an accurate timer. The tester housing and the rotating drum are made from stainless steel. The lid is rubber coated on the inner side for better sealing and attached with three quick-lock fasteners to the drum.

Operating modes

Preset time:

A preset time from 1 minute to 23 hours and 59 minutes is entered via the keypad and remains visible on the LC-display while running together with the time still left to run. The unit stops automatically when the test period has elapsed.

Set rotational speed:

The speed of rotation is set via the keypad to be between 10 and 99 rpm.

Preset number of revolutions:

The total number of revolutions (up to 99'999) is entered via the keypad and remains visible on the LC-display while running together with the number of revolutions still left to run. The unit stops automatically when the correct number of revolutions has been executed.
